Walking
Is The One Weight Loss and Weight Management Exercise, Everyone Can Do!
Walking
Is Easy Exercise For Weight Loss, and It Works!
It seems everyone wants to hear “take this
diet pill and you will lose all the weight you want, as fast as you want,
and with out changing any of you’re eating or lifestyle habits.” It also
seems that no one wants to hear “take this Diet Pill and with daily exercise
and eating smarter, with less fat and high carbohydrate foods plus smaller
portions, you will lose the weight you want, and keep it off for good.”
Problem is, the second one does works, the first one does not!
We sell diet supplements
and believe in them because we know from friends and customers that they
work when directions are followed and some type of daily exercise and diet
changes are included. There are great helper
diet pills available, but there is no
magic diet pill or pills, regardless of the price, prescription or
otherwise, that will do the job all by themselves. Unless you want to
be taking diet supplements the rest of your life, some lifestyle and diet
changes will be required.
A good walking program is
the easiest way to get your daily exercise for weight loss and overall
life-long weight management. Walking outdoors is always better than using a
treadmill inside because it’s easy to make your walking enjoyable. You can
listen to music, books on tape, think about stuff without interruptions,
pray, daydream, or just enjoy nature and all that us happening around you.
The second best place to walk is at a Mall on a slow day. This is sometimes
a good alternative in bad weather.
Try to make walking a daily habit just like brushing your teeth. Walking
daily is much better for
fat burning than walking two or three
times a week. Many people say it’s easier to make walking a regular part of
your day if it’s done every day. After a while, there is a good chance you
will even begin to look forward to your daily walk!
If at all possible do
your walking first thing in the morning. Studies show that the majority of
people, who walk consistently, walk first thing in the morning. Start slow,
like just around the block for the first few days. Then gradually increase
your time until you build up to 30 to 45 minutes per day. Try to mix it up
with 10 minutes of casual walking, than 10 minutes of brisk walking, and
then cool down with 10 or 15 minutes of normal to casual walking and in no
time you will feel great and be on your way to achieving your weight loss
goal.
The
primary benefits of walking besides weight management are increased blood
flow and circulation, improved recovery, and a strengthened immune system.
In fact walking may be man’s best medicine for slowing the aging process.
First, it works almost every muscle in the body, improving circulation to
the joints and massaging the blood vessels (keeping them more elastic).
Walking also helps us maintain both our muscle mass and metabolism as we
age. It also keeps us young in spirit. For anyone out of shape or too busy
for the gym, walking is the no-stress, no-sweat answer to lifelong
conditioning.
All
it takes is a little time, common sense and a few guidelines. Unfortunately,
there's a lot of misinformation floating around regarding fitness walking,
weight loss and diet supplements. Walking is one of the best exercises for
strengthening bones, controlling weight, toning the leg muscles, maintaining
good posture and improving positive self-esteem. People who use diet
supplements without exercising often get fatter with time. Although your
weight may initially drop while using diet pills, such weight loss consists
mostly of water and muscle. When the weight returns, it comes back as fat.
To avoid gaining weight over time, increase your metabolism by making
walking your daily exercise.
To lose weight, it's more important to walk for time than
speed. Walking at a moderate pace yields longer workouts with less soreness,
which leads to more miles and more calories spent on a regular basis.
When it comes to good health and weight loss, exercise
and diet are interrelated. Exercising without maintaining a balanced diet is
no more beneficial than dieting while remaining inactive.
If
you are not walking, think about starting today. Walking is the easiest of
exercises and does the most good for your entire body.
